Preparation

  • Gather and measure all your ingredients for a smooth cooking process.

Cooking the Base

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the dark chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Heat over medium while stirring continuously until melted and smooth (5-7 minutes).

Adding Flavor

  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Optionally fold in nuts if using.

Pouring Mixture

  • Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. Pour the fudge mixture into the dish and spread evenly.

Chilling
