  • Gather all ingredients and allow the vanilla ice cream to soften slightly.
  • Crush chocolate wafer cookies finely.

Assembling the Cake

  • In a springform pan, sprinkle a layer of crushed chocolate wafer cookies on the bottom for the base.
  • Spread a layer of vanilla ice cream on top of the cookie base, aiming for about an inch thick.
  • Drizzle chocolate fudge sauce over the vanilla ice cream.
  • Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies over the fudge sauce.
  • Repeat layering steps until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of whipped cream.

Setting the Cake

  • Cover the springform pan with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours to set.
  • Before serving, optionally garnish with additional crushed peppermint candies.
  • Carefully remove the sides of the springform pan, slice, and serve.
