  • 1 pouch (3 oz) liquid fruit pectin Essential for jelly consistency.
  • ΒΌ cup water
  • Optional fruit pieces or spices (like cinnamon or cloves) For added flavor.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and utensils. Have your sterilized jars ready for filling once your jelly is complete.

Cooking

  • In a medium saucepan, combine your chosen fruit juice and the 1/4 cup of water. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Once boiling, stir in the sugar until it dissolves completely. Keep boiling for one full minute, then remove from heat.
  • Mix in the liquid fruit pectin thoroughly and stir until fully integrated.
  • Add in optional fruit pieces or spices for added depth and flavor.
  • Carefully pour the mixture into sterilized jars, leaving headspace at the top.
  • Immediately place the lids on your jars to maintain freshness.
  • Let the jars cool at room temperature, which may take several hours.
  • Once cool, store the jars in the refrigerator.
  • Your Christmas Jelly is ready to enjoy!

Notes

Store sealed jars in the refrigerator for up to a month. Can be frozen in airtight containers for extended storage.
