  • Gather all your ingredients to ensure a smooth cooking process.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, unsalted butter, and milk. Place over medium heat and stir continuously until the mixture begins to boil.
  • Once your mixture reaches a boil, stop stirring and let it boil for 4-5 minutes until it bubbles up and becomes a light golden color.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and be cautious as the mixture is very hot.
  • Quickly stir in the creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth and lump-free.
  • Add the powdered sugar to the mixture and stir until fully incorporated, achieving a thick consistency.
  • Pour the fudge mixture into a greased 8x8 inch pan and spread it evenly using a spatula.
  • Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature or place it in the fridge for about an hour to speed up the process.
  • Once set, cut the fudge into squares or rectangles.

Notes

Store the fudge in an airtight container, layered with parchment paper to prevent sticking. For longer storage, freeze the fudge wrapped tightly in plastic wrap.
