  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Having everything ready will make the process smoother and quicker.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until it thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Gently fold in the whipped cream to maintain a smooth, airy mixture.
  • Stir in the eggnog along with your chosen rum or whiskey, then add nutmeg and cinnamon to taste.
  • Use a spoon to fill shot glasses with the mixture, evenly distributing the pudding base.
  • Cover the shot glasses with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  • While chilling, prepare chocolate shavings for garnish.
  • Before serving, top each shot with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.

Notes

For dietary adjustments, use plant-based milk and whipped cream for a vegan version. These shots are best enjoyed fresh and can be prepared in advance for convenience. Chill the shot glasses for best results.
