Instructions
Preparation
- Gather all ingredients on a clean countertop.
- Ensure butter is softened and eggs are at room temperature.
Baking
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together granulated sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, fully incorporating each before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
- Grease a muffin tray and fill each cup 2/3 full with batter.
