Ingredients
  

Mushroom Caps

  • 16 large large mushrooms Cleaned and stems removed

Cheese Filling

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Can substitute with plant-based cream cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese Nutritional yeast can be used as a dairy-free alternative

Seasonings and Additives

  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs Use gluten-free if needed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped Adds vibrant color and freshness
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  • Take each mushroom cap and generously stuff it with the mixture, packing it well.
  • Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Baking

  • Bake for about 20 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the mushrooms are tender.
  • Let the mushrooms cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

These stuffed mushrooms can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking. They can also be frozen before baking for later use.
