Ingredients
  

Trifle Layers

  • 10 Christmas tree snack cakes Little Debbie style, chopped
  • 1 box vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk cold
  • 8 oz whipped topping thawed
  • ½ cup holiday sprinkles red and green
  • white chocolate chips optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk until thickened.
  • Gently fold half of the whipped topping into the pudding until smooth.
  • Layer chopped Christmas tree cakes in the bottom of a trifle dish.
  • Spread a layer of pudding mixture over the cakes, then sprinkle with holiday sprinkles.
  • Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with whipped topping on top.
  • Garnish with extra sprinkles or white chocolate chips. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dessert can be assembled a few hours ahead of time. For extra flavor, add a layer of cream cheese frosting or vanilla cake crumbs.
