For the Decoration

  • ½ cup green colored sugar For festive decoration
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar For icing
  • 1 tablespoon milk For icing; use plant-based milk for dairy-free
  • 1 tube green icing For additional decoration

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the cinnamon roll package instructions (typically around 350°F or 175°C). Grease your baking sheet and clear off a counter space for dough preparation.
  • Carefully peel the paper wrapping from the refrigerated cinnamon roll cans and remove the rolls.
  • Gently roll each cinnamon roll out to about 6-8 inches in length.
  • Arrange the elongated rolls on the greased baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree.

Baking

  • Bake the assembled Christmas tree in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Icing and Decoration

  • While the rolls are baking, mix the powdered sugar and milk to create a simple icing.
  • Once the rolls are out of the oven and slightly cooled, drizzle the icing over them.
  • Before the icing sets, sprinkle the green colored sugar and optional sprinkles over the top.
