Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather all ingredients.
  • Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  • Cut the pastry into a Christmas tree shape using a sharp knife or pastry cutter.

Assembly

  • Spread almond paste evenly over the pastry.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts and cranberries over the almond paste.
  • Fold the edges of the pastry inward to form the tree shape.
  • Brush the top with beaten egg for the egg wash.

Baking

  • Place the shaped pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
