  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all the ingredients and pre-measuring them to streamline the process.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease your doughnut pan using cooking spray or a brush.

Mixing Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In a separate bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently combine to avoid overmixing.
  • Fill each cavity of the greased doughnut pan about 2/3 full with the batter.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Allow doughnuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack.

Coating

  • Mix together sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
