  • Gather all the ingredients listed above. Ensure that dates are pitted and shredded coconut is ready.
  • In a food processor, combine the pitted dates, almond flour, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Pulse the mixture until it forms a sticky dough-like consistency, usually taking about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Add the shredded coconut to the food processor and pulse until evenly incorporated. You want a mixture that is sticky yet holds its shape.
  • Wet your hands slightly to prevent sticking. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into small balls, roughly the size of a tablespoon.
  • Place the rolled balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  • For an extra touch, roll the bliss balls in additional shredded coconut or cocoa powder after chilling.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
