Preparation

  • Clear your cooking space and gather all your ingredients.
  • Wash your hands and any vegetables you’ll be using for toppings.

Mixing Meat

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Mix lightly until just combined.

Forming Patties

  • Shape the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties.
  • Wet your hands to prevent sticking and press a small dimple into the center of each patty.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill or skillet to medium heat.
  • Place the patties on the hot grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Flip the patties gently and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
