Ingredients
  

For the French Toast

  • 4 slices thick slices of bread Choose thick, hearty bread for best results.
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter for frying Use enough to coat the skillet.

For the Cream Cheese Filling

  • 4 oz cream cheese Softened.
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar Sugar substitute can be used.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • Soften the cream cheese if not already done.

Make the Cream Cheese Filling

  • Mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth in a medium bowl.

Assemble the Sandwiches

  • Spread the cream cheese mixture on one side of two slices of bread.
  • Top with the other slices to form sandwiches, pressing gently.

Prepare the Egg Mixture

  • Whisk together eggs, milk, and cinnamon in a separate bowl until well combined.

Cook the French Toast

  • Heat the skillet over medium heat with a pat of butter.
  • Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture on both sides.
  • Fry the sandwiches until golden brown on each side, for about 3–4 minutes per side.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Remove from skillet, place on a serving plate, and serve warm with syrup or fresh berries.

Notes
