Crust Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 packages cream cheese, softened 8 ounces each
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

Preparation

  • Gather all the ingredients and ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature.

Crust Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter, mixing until well mixed.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan evenly and tightly.

Filling Preparation

  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar together until smooth (about 2-3 minutes).
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the sour cream and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Gently mix in the all-purpose flour until fully combined.

Baking

  • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust and smooth the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  • Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door slightly ajar for about an hour.

Cooling

  • Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight before serving.

Notes

To store, cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze slices individually. Allow to thaw in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
