Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauce Base

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For sautéing garlic
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream Or substitute with coconut cream or cashew cream for dairy-free
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use block cheese and grate fresh for maximum flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste For seasoning the sauce
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Adds freshness and color

Preparation

  • Gather and measure out all ingredients: linguine, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and parsley.

Cooking Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Reduce the heat to low, stir in the heavy cream, and mix well with the garlic to warm through.
  • Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.

Serving

  • Transfer the Creamy Linguine to serving plates and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish can be customized with seasonal vegetables or proteins. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
