Ingredients
  

Egg Base

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs

Filling

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste

Decoration

  • black olives sliced, for decoration
  • green food coloring optional
  • paprika for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks.
  • Mash the yolks with a fork in a mixing bowl until crumbly.
  • Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper to the yolks and mix until smooth.
  • (Optional) Stir in a few drops of green food coloring for a creepy effect.
  • Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  • Top each egg with a slice of black olive to create a spooky 'eyeball' look.
  • Sprinkle paprika on top for color and flavor.
  • Arrange on a platter and serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.

Notes

For best results, prepare these shortly before serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Deviled eggs do not freeze well.
