  • 2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls Original or butter flake
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage cooked and drained
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking sausage

  • onions diced
  • spinach chopped
  • chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook breakfast sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Mix cooked sausage with softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until smooth.
  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise for smaller rolls.
  • Place a small scoop of filling on the wide end of each strip and roll tightly toward the point.
  • Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15–25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly, garnish with herbs, and serve warm.
