Ingredients
  

Apple Fries

  • 2 large apples peeled and cut into fry-shaped sticks
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • nonstick cooking spray for air fryer basket

For Serving

  • caramel sauce or whipped cream optional for dipping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C). Lightly spray the basket with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In one bowl, place the flour. In another, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, mix together panko breadcrumbs, sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Dip each apple slice into flour, then egg, and finally coat evenly with the cinnamon panko mixture.
  • Arrange the coated apple fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap.
  • Air fry for 7–9 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve immediately with caramel sauce or whipped cream for dipping.

Notes

Try using different apple varieties like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith for varied sweetness. You can also toss them in powdered sugar after air frying for extra sweetness.
