  • 4 large carrots Peeled and cut into thin strips resembling fries.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil or coconut oil.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Can replace with minced garlic for a stronger flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Feel free to swap for your choice of seasoning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Peel the large carrots and cut them into thin strips that resemble fries.

Cooking

  • In a mixing bowl, toss carrot strips with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  • Place the carrot strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Cook for about 10-15 minutes, checking for doneness around the 10-minute mark and shaking the basket halfway through.

Serving

  • Carefully remove the carrot fries and enjoy immediately with a dip of choice like ranch or hummus.

Notes

To store leftovers, place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze on a baking sheet until solid, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.
