Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices bread ciabatta or brioche recommended
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce chopped
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ cup Caesar dressing
  • olive oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Marinate chicken breasts in buttermilk with salt and pepper for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Set up breading station with flour in one dish, whisked eggs in another, and panko mixed with garlic powder and paprika in a third.
  • Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, then press into panko mixture until fully coated.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Toast bread slices lightly in skillet or toaster.
  • Assemble sandwiches by layering lettuce, fried chicken, Caesar dressing, and Parmesan cheese between slices of toasted bread.
  • Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

Customize with extra toppings like avocado or tomato. For a lighter option, bake chicken instead of frying. Best enjoyed fresh for maximum crunch.
