Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and slice them in half to ensure even roasting.

Mixing

  • In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and grated Parmesan cheese. Toss until evenly coated.

Roasting

  • Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet with space between them.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, stirring gently halfway through.
  • Check for doneness; they should be crispy and golden brown on the outside and fork-tender inside.
  • For extra crunch, broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes if desired.

Serving

  • Remove from oven and let cool for a minute. Optionally, sprinkle with additional Parmesan or fresh herbs before serving.
  • Serve hot as a side dish or snack.

Notes

Ensure not to overcrowd the baking sheet for optimal crispiness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
