Preparation

  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly under cold water and pat them dry with a towel.
  • Slice each potato to about 1/8th of an inch thick, aiming for uniform thickness.

Coating

  • Transfer the sliced potatoes to a large mixing bowl.
  • Drizzle with one tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle garlic granules, dried mixed herbs, and salt over the potato slices.
  • Gently toss the potato slices to ensure thorough coating.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Spread the potato slices across the baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 25-35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

These potatoes can be customized with various herbs or spices. For added flavor, consider topping with cheese in the last few minutes of baking.
