Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 large cucumbers thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion

Dressing

  • ¼ cup white wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh dill

Instructions
 

  • Wash and thinly slice the cucumbers and place them in a bowl.
  • Add the thinly sliced red onion to the cucumbers.
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together the white wine vinegar, olive oil, sugar, salt, black pepper, and chopped dill to form the dressing.
  • Pour the dressing over the cucumber and onion mixture and toss gently to coat.
  • Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.

Notes

You can vary the herbs (such as using mint instead of dill) or add sliced cherry tomatoes for variation. Serve immediately for best texture.
