For the Sandwiches

  • 1 large cucumber Washed and sliced thinly
  • 8 slices bread White, whole grain, or gluten-free based on preference
  • 4 oz cream cheese Softened
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill Chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste For seasoning

Preparation

  • Wash your cucumber thoroughly. Slice it thinly using a sharp knife.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cream cheese, chopped fresh dill, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.

Assembly

  • Take the slices of bread and spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on each slice.
  • Layer cucumber slices on half of the prepared bread slices, ensuring even spacing.
  • Top with the remaining slices of bread, cream cheese side down, and gently press them together.
  • Cut each sandwich into quarters, opting for triangles or squares.

Chill and Serve

  • For maximum flavor, refrigerate the sandwiches for 15-30 minutes before serving.
