A quick and flavorful skillet meal made with chicken sausage, fresh broccoli, and tender orzo pasta, finished with Parmesan cheese for a comforting weeknight dinner.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken sausage and cook 2–3 minutes on one side, flip, and cook until golden brown.
Add broccoli, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
Stir in minced garlic and orzo, cook for 1 minute to toast the pasta slightly.
Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil. Reduce to low, cover, and simmer 10–15 minutes until orzo is cooked and liquid absorbed.
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Serve warm with extra Parmesan if desired.
