  • 2 cans Refrigerated Pizza Dough or biscuit dough Choose your favorite brand for ease.
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted Adds flavor and a golden finish.

Cheese Filling

  • 8 ounces Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, shredded Low-moisture for easier handling.
  • 4 ounces Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded Provides a sharp contrast in flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all the necessary ingredients on your kitchen counter.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  • Open the refrigerated pizza or biscuit dough and roll it out to a rectangle about ¼ inch thick on a floured surface.

Assembling

  • Brush half of the melted butter over the surface of the dough.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly, then add minced garlic, parsley, rosemary, oregano, red pepper flakes, and salt.
  • Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide.
  • Layer the strips vertically to form the shape of a Christmas tree.

Baking

  • Transfer the stacked dough onto the greased baking sheet.
  • Brush with the remaining melted butter and beaten egg for a golden finish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly, checking at 20 minutes.

Decoration and Serving

  • Remove from the oven and decorate with sprigs of rosemary and halved cherry tomatoes.
  • Add the yellow bell pepper star at the top and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature. Refrigerating extends lifespan, but may dry out. Freezing is also an option for up to 2 months. Reheat in a 350°F oven for best results.
