Instructions
Prep ingredients: mince garlic, chop vegetables, and cook rice or quinoa.
Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F/75°C).
Mix hot honey, soy sauce, and lime juice in a bowl to make the sauce.
Add minced garlic to skillet, sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour sauce over chicken, simmer 1–2 minutes until coated in glaze.
Add vegetables to skillet in last 2–3 minutes, stir until tender-crisp.
Assemble bowls: layer rice or quinoa, top with chicken and vegetables.
Drizzle extra sauce over bowls, serve with lime wedges if desired.
Notes
Swap chicken with tofu for vegetarian option. Use tamari for gluten-free. Add sesame seeds or cilantro for garnish.
