Instructions
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned (5-7 minutes).
Drain excess fat from the skillet.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
Serve beef mixture over cooked rice. Garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
For extra flavor, top with sesame seeds or a fried egg. You can also swap the ground beef for turkey or plant-based meat.
