Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggnog, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Slice and serve with whipped cream or a dusting of powdered sugar for a festive touch.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in chopped nuts, cranberries, or chocolate chips. To make a glaze, combine powdered sugar with a few tablespoons of eggnog and drizzle over the cooled loaf. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
