For the Filling

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Use dairy-free for vegan version.
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar Use sugar substitutes if preferred.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 12 large strawberries Fresh and firm for best flavor and texture.

Preparation

  • Start by washing and drying the strawberries thoroughly. Set them aside to dry.
  • Carefully cut the tops off each strawberry, leaving enough berry intact to hold the filling.
  • Using a small spoon or a melon baller, gently hollow out the centers of each strawberry.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth.
  • Fill each hollowed-out strawberry with the cream cheese mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  • Arrange the filled strawberries on a decorative plate.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Best enjoyed fresh.
