- ½ cup mashed banana Can substitute with pumpkin puree.
- ¼ cup honey Optional; can be omitted for lower sugar.
- ¼ cup peanut butter Use xylitol-free peanut butter.
- ¼ cup water Adjust for desired batter consistency.

- ¼ cup carob chips Optional for decoration.
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather and measure all ingredients.
Make Batter
- In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and baking powder.
- In another bowl, mix together the apple sauce, banana, honey (if using), and peanut butter until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- If the batter is too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time until it is thick but pourable.
Baking
- Fill cupcake liners halfway with batter.
- Sprinkle carob chips on top of the batter if desired.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cupcakes cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

- Once cooled, serve the cupcakes to your dog and enjoy their excitement!
