Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients: slice the chicken breast, chop the cabbage, and slice the red bell pepper. Mince the garlic and set everything aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken breast and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
  • Add the minced garlic to the cooked chicken and stir for a minute. Then, add the sliced red bell pepper and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Toss in the chopped cabbage and stir continuously until it begins to wilt and tenderizes, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour the soy sauce over the stir fry, stirring well to coat everything evenly. Let it fry for an additional minute.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, then stir to combine.
  • Remove from heat and serve hot.

Notes

This dish can be easily customized; add your favorite spices or change up the vegetables based on preferences. For a gluten-free option, use tamari instead of soy sauce.
