  • 1 packet taco seasoning store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup chicken broth low-sodium preferred

Instructions
 

  • Place the chicken breasts in the base of your crockpot in a single layer.
  • Sprinkle taco seasoning evenly over the chicken.
  • Pour chicken broth over the seasoned chicken, ensuring it covers the bottom for even cooking.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked (internal temperature 165°F).
  • Shred the chicken using two forks directly in the crockpot, mixing it with the cooking liquid for added flavor and moisture.
  • Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as salsa, avocado, and shredded cheese.
