  • 24 pieces Oreos Crushed for the crust
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling

  • 1 cup whipping cream To be whipped for the filling
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar For sweetening the whipped cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup powdered sugar, additional For sweetening the peanut butter mixture
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Chopped peanuts for topping Optional for crunch
  • Chocolate syrup to taste optional for drizzling

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients to ensure a smooth preparation process.
  • In a mixing bowl, crush the Oreos until they resemble fine crumbs.
  • Melt the butter and combine it with the cookie crumbs.
  • Press the mixture firmly into a greased pie plate to form the crust.
  • Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to help it set.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the cream with the powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and then add the peanut butter, remaining powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing until fully blended.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture.
  • Spoon the filling into the chilled Oreo crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Top the pie with chopped peanuts and drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  • Slice and enjoy chilled.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator covered to maintain freshness. Can be made a day in advance.
