Preparation

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs until the batter is uniform with no dry patches.
  • Fold in the white chocolate chips if using.

Baking

  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges set but centers are soft.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
