Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 baguette sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.

  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped chives, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over each toasted baguette slice.
  • Top each slice with a spoonful of cranberry pepper jelly, allowing it to drizzle slightly over the edges.
  • Garnish with extra chives if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, assemble just before serving to keep the bread crisp. If cranberry pepper jelly isn’t available, mix cranberry sauce with a bit of hot pepper jam for a similar flavor. Store leftover components separately and reheat baguette slices in the oven before reassembling.
