Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken thighs boneless and skinless
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free option
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 2 green onions chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Gather and prepare all your ingredients — grate ginger, mince garlic, and measure sauces.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until smooth.
  • Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of oil.
  • Cook chicken for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from the skillet and let rest for 3–5 minutes before slicing.
  • Slice chicken and drizzle remaining sauce from the pan on top. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Serve over jasmine rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables. Adjust spice level by reducing or increasing red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. For a vegan version, replace chicken with tofu or tempeh.
