Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients: flour, yeast, sugar, salt, warm milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Whisk until evenly distributed.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the warm milk, melted butter, and eggs together.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the kneaded dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  • Punch down the dough, divide it into 12-16 equal portions, and shape each into a ball.
  • Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve the rolls with butter, honey, or alongside soups and salads. Can be customized with herbs, cheese, or spices for different flavors.
