Ingredients
  

  • 3 apples peeled, cored, sliced
  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 ml milk
  • oil for frying
  • sugar for dusting
  • cinnamon for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Peel, core, and slice the apples into thin wedges.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and 1 tbsp sugar.
  • In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk until frothy. Add to dry mixture and stir until just combined.
  • Dip apple slices into the batter, coating evenly.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan to medium-high. Fry apple slices 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Remove fritters with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Dust warm fritters with sugar and cinnamon before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but they can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) to regain crispiness.
