  • 200 g beef sirloin, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 250 g pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips and mince the garlic. Chop the fresh parsley and set aside the Parmesan cheese for serving later.

Cooking

  • In a large pot, cook the pasta according to package instructions until it’s al dente.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until aromatic, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Season the beef with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if desired).
  • Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet, tossing to coat it well with the garlic and beef.
  • If the pasta seems dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water to create a sauce.
  • Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat with a splash of water or broth to keep it moist.
