Ingredients

  • 4 beef chops ribeye or sirloin recommended
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Bring beef chops to room temperature and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Generously season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and let it melt until it starts to bubble.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 30–60 seconds, just until fragrant.
  • Carefully place the beef chops in the skillet and sear for 3–4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked to desired doneness (145°F for medium-rare).
  • Remove the chops and let them rest for 5 minutes on a plate.
  • Spoon remaining garlic butter over the rested beef chops.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for the best flavor, and avoid overcooking it to prevent bitterness. Pair these chops with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or garlic bread for a complete meal. For extra depth, add a splash of red wine or a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter sauce.
