Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 8 ounces pasta of choice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

Preparation and Cooking

  • Start by gathering all the ingredients needed. Dice the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and mince the garlic. Grate the Parmesan cheese if not using pre-grated cheese. Boil water for the pasta according to the package instructions.
  • Cook your pasta of choice according to the box directions until al dente. Remember to add salt to the boiling water for extra flavor. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Let it melt slowly to create a foundation of flavor for your dish.
  • Add the minced garlic to the melted butter. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  • Add the diced chicken pieces to the skillet. Season generously with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it turns golden brown and is cooked through.
  • Stir in the cooked pasta gently with the chicken, making sure every piece is coated with the garlic butter sauce.
  • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and chicken mixture. Toss everything together until the cheese is melted and well incorporated.
  • Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish your dish with chopped parsley.
  • Serve immediately while hot and enjoy.

Notes

To store, let it cool completely in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For reheating, add a splash of broth to keep the pasta moist.
