  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adjust quantity to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For frying the steak.
  • ½ teaspoon salt To taste.
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper To taste.

Preparation

  • Begin by gathering all your ingredients. Cut the steak into 1-inch cubes and the zucchini into half-moons. Mince the garlic cloves.

Cooking the Steak

  • Pat the steak bites dry using paper towels to ensure a good sear. Season them generously with salt and black pepper.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the steak bites to the hot skillet in a single layer. Sear the steak for 1-2 minutes on each side until brown. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Making Garlic Butter

  • Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the skillet. Allow it to melt, then add minced garlic and stir, cooking for about 30 seconds.
  • Add the zucchini to the skillet and cook for about 3-5 minutes until tender.

Combine and Serve

  • Return the steak to the skillet, toss everything together, and cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. For freezing, portion into containers and seal properly. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of broth to maintain moisture.
