Ingredients

For the Steak

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

For the Cream Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter For the sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced For the sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Pinch of red pepper flakes for a kick

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by gathering your ingredients and tools. This will save you time and ensure a smooth cooking process. You’ll need a large skillet and a saucepan. Wash the veggies and chop the garlic.
  • Take your steak cubes and pat them dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes in batches, searing each side for about 2-3 minutes until nicely browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Return the seared steak cubes back to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss to coat the steak bites.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt another tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add freshly minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Slowly stir in the Parmesan cheese and keep stirring until it melts completely. Season with salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  • Pour the creamy Parmesan sauce over the sautéed steak bites in the skillet, stirring well to combine.
  • Check the consistency of your cream sauce. Add a splash of milk or broth if too thick, or let simmer longer if too thin.
  • Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw and reheat gently to preserve tenderness.
