Ingredients
  

Garlic Herb Cod

  • 1 lb cod fillets cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Creamy Lemon Sauce

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard optional
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season cod strips with garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook cod strips for 2–3 minutes per side until opaque and flaky. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and Dijon mustard.
  • Simmer the sauce for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Return cod to the skillet and spoon sauce over the fish. Cook for 1–2 minutes to warm through.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal. Lemon wedges add extra brightness if desired.
