Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and unsweetened cocoa powder. Place this mixture over medium heat.
  • Stir continuously until the chocolate chips are fully melted and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy (about 5–7 minutes).
  • Remove the saucepan from heat. Add in the shredded coconut, chopped pecans, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  • Grease an 8-inch square baking pan lightly.
  • Pour the fudge mixture into the greased baking pan and spread evenly.
  • Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours to set.
  • Once set, cut into squares of desired size.
  • Serve on a platter and enjoy.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Can be frozen for up to three months; thaw in the refrigerator overnight.
