Ghost Taco Hand Pies combine the spooky fun of Halloween with the savory flavors of tacos. Wrapped in flaky pie crusts and shaped like little ghosts, they’re filled with seasoned beef, cheese, and optional veggies for a festive party snack or family dinner.
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add taco seasoning, shredded carrot, and bell pepper/spinach if using. Cook 5–6 minutes. Remove from heat.
Roll out pie crusts on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
Cut ghost shapes using a cookie cutter. Place half of the shapes on the baking sheet.
Spoon taco filling and sprinkle cheese onto each base ghost shape, leaving room at the edges.
Top with the remaining ghost cutouts. Optionally cut out eyes/mouths for decoration. Seal edges with a fork.
Brush with egg wash. Bake 10–14 minutes, until golden brown.
Cool briefly before serving. Enjoy with salsa for dipping.
