Ingredients
  

Energy Balls

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup nut butter almond or peanut butter
  • cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir until fully combined into a sticky dough.
  • If mixture feels too dry, add a teaspoon of honey; if too wet, add more oats.
  • Scoop and roll mixture into bite-sized balls using your hands.
  • Place energy balls on a plate or tray and chill for 10–15 minutes to firm up, if desired.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy as a quick snack.

Notes

Add a pinch of black pepper to enhance turmeric absorption. These energy balls can be stored in the fridge for up to one week.
