  • 1 pound fresh green beans Trimmed and ends removed
  • 8 slices of bacon Cut in half
  • ¼ cup melted butter Can substitute with olive oil for dairy-free option
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Or coconut aminos for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar Can substitute with honey or maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper To taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Trim the ends of the green beans.
  • Gather about 8-10 green beans and wrap them with a half slice of bacon. Secure snugly.
  • Place the bundles seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Making the Glaze

  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  • Drizzle the butter mixture over the bacon-wrapped green beans.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until bacon is crispy and golden.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 10-15 minutes.
